Silvermere Golf Club: Enchanted Woodland Theme

Earlier this year we were invited to work together with Alina Galea on the Wedding Showcase at Silvermere Golf Club. We were delighted to exhibit alongside some fantastic companies (check them out below!) but we were mainly itching for the chance to show off some of our gorgeous brand new stock, all centred around what is undoubtedly one of this years hottest trends: ‘bringing the outside in.’ We set about transforming their fabulous Lake Suite into a magical woodland clearing…

Wonderland Table Centre Silvermere

The Wonderland Willow Table Centre is one of our favourite new creations and a real show-stopper. Willow will always create a striking and elegant silhouette, but add dangling hanging glass globes, tea-lights and moss and you’ve got something extra-enchanting. Who wouldn’t want a centre piece reminiscent of a whimsical wishing tree?

And there is nothing like twisted willow, ivy and moss to give a space the intimate, overgrown feel of a secret garden. Here we used traditional iron candelabra and brass candelabra with willow and ivyThe Enchanted Woodland candelabra (right) is another stunning centre-piece combining all of these elements, with a mirror base, votives and tea-lights to add a little extra elegance.

Also brand new is our rustic lace backdrop. We are very excited about this super-versatile piece, as whatever items you’ve chosen as decor this has the power to combine them into one gloriously rustic scene! Here we overlaid it with a festoon light cascade in order to continue the outdoor vibe, but this can easily be used on its own, or swapped for pea-lights for a more subtle and clean-cut look. Either way, it’s a backdrop with impact.

And finally we absolutely love lanterns as centre pieces, especially on these rustic wooden slices, as they instantly bring that enchanted outdoor atmosphere inside. Classic coach lanterns and cream vintage-style lanterns are perfect, or choose these antique-style copper lanterns if you want to go rustic all the way. Choose pillar candles inside, or even clusters of pealights for a modern twist. We had some fun playing around with fantastical woodland creations: moss, miniature succulents, glass votives and tea-lights can all be combined in different ways to create atmospheric and unique table centres.  We want to thank our host Alina for giving us the opportunity to have some fun with the woodland themes, and to exhibit alongside such wonderful companies!
