Battery-powered candles are often overlooked, but on many occasions they may be the only option, or the most sensible option for your event. Many venues do not permit real flames inside, and attempting to have real flames outside in Britain is risky at best! Battery-powered candles give you the best of both worlds, added safety with no risk of them being blown out and the soft flickering glow that we all love from a normal flame. We have included some examples below of ways we have used battery-powered candles in the past to give you some inspiration.
We decorated St John’s Crypt in London with battery-powered candles strewn with Holly and Ivy to provide a festive glow for a Christmas concert and to add warmth and softness to the bare walls.
At the Old Royal Naval College in London we used battery-powered candles in our floor standing carousel candelabra. To accentuate the architecture of the building, we matched the glow of our battery candles with amber uplighters in the corridor.
At the Design Museum in London we lined the stairs with our vintage-style lanterns filled with battery-powered candles. This was the perfect entrance set up for the event, and the functionality of battery-powered candles meant that once everything had been set up they were ready to glow all night.
At Guildhall we often dress the tables for the annual Grocer Gold Awards using our silver table candelabra with battery-powered candles for a classic and elegant look.
Whatever the theme or look you are trying to achieve we will endeavour to replicate it with our non-flammable alternatives.
