Fairylights, or pealights as we often call them, have to be our most popular hire item ever!
They are just so incredibly versatile. We can drape them, wrap them, hang them, let them cascade to the ground, swoop overhead and integrate them with other party decorations as well.
In this blog post, Stressfree | The Venue Transformers, feature one of our most popular styles, designed exclusively for a client tasting event at Farbridge Barns wedding venue near Chichester, West Sussex.
For details of everyone involved in this collaboration, please find the list of credits at the bottom of this post. All photos from the tasting event have been kindly supplied by Rob Burgess copyright Shooting Hip Photography. Our double swag fairylight pealight canopy with cascades at each end was designed to provide an alternative to a light tunnel, defining a set-up of two long tables, rather than the more typical single table layout.
Fairylight tunnels have seen a huge upward trend this year and they are the ideal way of making a larger space more intimate. It was the inspiration from this set-up during a photo shoot (our own photo) for micro wedding ideas that led the design of our double swag canopy with cascades at each end to dress Farbridge for their Tasting event. The scheme was complemented with a full height ivory partition drape, providing a soft divide between dining and drinks/bar areas, as well as framing the view down the length of the Barn to add to the “wow” factor. As lights fades, the canopy and other lighting effects really come into their own.
