I wonder if you watched Comic Relief’s ‘One Red Nose Day and a Wedding’, the heart-warming short sequel to the 1994 Romcom made especially for Comic Relief earlier this year? From the opening scene, screenwriter Richard Curtis captures the joy, beauty and of course humour of a quintessentially British Wedding.
The church is adorned with flowers and the soft light of the carousel candelabra bring a warm hue to the ceremony. Fairy lights, festoons, glass baubles and birch trees in leaf create an enchanting reception. The tables are exquisitely decorated with flickering storm lanterns and a delicate wall drape with a fairy light cascade acts as a pretty backdrop for the speeches. The wedding is perfect.
We want your wedding to be perfect too. When we dress a venue, our job is to bring your ideas together to create the style and atmosphere you are looking for. So, whether you dream of a traditional, urban, rustic, themed or just plain quirky wedding, let us help create a day that reflects who you are. After all, today, you are the stars of the show.
In this blog post, Stressfree | The Venue Transformers gives our wedding design tips for creating a similar look to the film by using your wedding design and decor.
