French Country Styling at the Four Seasons

Richard and Johnny were referred to us for venue styling by Paula Rooney, a luxury florist whom we have worked with for many years. They wanted a French Country inspired wedding, with pale grey tones, seasonal flowers and a real party atmosphere for the evening.

The venue’s ceremony area is quite long and narrow, so we supplied a raised platform and a simple, gathered, soft white backdrop which we illuminated. These items set the scene for the ceremony along with Paula’s two statement trees either side of the dais. For the drinks reception, our vintage-style garden furniture was the perfect fit for the beautiful Walled Garden whilst poseur tables dressed in French grey linen complemented the theme inside.

For the Ballroom, we installed a partition drape, enabling a quick room turnaround between afternoon and evening, and reducing the size of the room for dining. Pinspots to illuminate the table centres and wall uplighters highlighted Paula’s beautiful arrangements and provided subtle colouring throughout.

The evening party saw a change in tone, with the same colour scheme but some statement pieces added. The large, round illuminated bar took centre stage, with Richard and Johnny’s initials projected onto the walls either side. A starlit dancefloor was installed and the drape opened to reveal the DJ and the venue’s own Twilight trees. Lighting levels were adjusted, and the dancing commenced.
