A Midsummer Night's Dream Wedding
For this pretty micro wedding, we used draping to soften the colour palette of the Lake Suite at Chewton Glen as well as dividing the room into two zones. The partition drapes were opened following an intimate wedding breakfast, to reveal a chill-out area for a relaxed evening party.
The event design theme was A Midsummer Night’s Dream and we lined the walls with cut birch trees to “bring the outside in” and added some little touches which included a set-piece of woodland animals. The combination of festoon lights draped overhead, fairy lights in the trees and floor-standing candle lanterns provided the twinkly atmosphere required.
The tables were beautifully adorned with different heights, textures and colours. Our elegant glass candelabra, storm lanterns and votive holders provided the candlelight, whilst gorgeous florals by Arcade Flowers provided the whimsy.
