Rustic luxury at Gildings Barns
Nicole wanted a romantic feel for her rustic luxury wedding styling, but without losing the natural charm of the venue, Gildings Barns, a beautifully remote venue available for weekend hire.
For the entrance into the Barns, we dressed the doorways with soft, white drapes and added an oversized hand-written mirror to welcome guests to the wedding. The Courtyard provides the perfect extension to the Bar and we prettied this with vintage-style garden furniture and oak barrel poseur tables. Gorgeous arrangements by Nordic Twigs completed the look.
Inside, our large illuminated BAR letters, in an antique gold finish, were the perfect fit to hang above the bar, supplemented by a swag of oversized retro filament lamps, both using bespoke fixings to avoid damaging the fabric of the building.
However, it was the main event which had the distinct wow factor. Complementing the fairylights already there, as well as Nordic Twig’s foliage to dress the upright beams, we installed low hanging festoons dotted with white paper lanterns, to fill the roof void. Cut birch trees lined the walls and wall uplighters, together with fairylights in the trees, provided a warm ambience. The overall effect, with the beautiful centrepieces by Nordic Twigs, really was stunning.
