In this blog post, Stressfree | The Venue Transformers explore some creative ways to separate your event using room dividers.

It is often desirable or necessary to screen off a section of a venue. Far from being inconvenient, we think partitions can be a fabulous opportunity to give your event some structure and creative flair!

Here are a few exciting screening solutions we have come up with in the past when event planning.

Boxwood hedges are the perfect option for any spring or summer event, and to give any indoor venue an instant injection of greenery. For wedding styling, a row of bright and blooming florals (like this arrangement above by Hayford & Rhodes at Devonshire Terrace London) will stun your guests, or create a fun children’s area with colourful bunting!

And we absolutely love these white trellis screens. Versatile, pretty and practical, these can be dressed up with floral arrangements, fabric swags, pealights and anything you like, or kept sparse and stylish. See them here with a twisted willow archway or below dressed with artificial flowers!

Alternatively, keep things discreet like these simple but effective draping solutions.

As seen above, a simple self-standing gantry can be used to screen off a walkway to keep your event an intimate affair. Draping also works well on a larger scale, as seen below at The Hurlingham Club and at Farbridge Barns in Sussex; the traditional, stylish and classic way to keep full control over the size of your event with full or partial screening.  Ideal for event styling at larger venues.

Trinity Buoy Wharf is another venue with wonderful open space, where some screening can be useful to separate ceremony and reception. Traditional draping is perfect for more understated and classic themes, but just like these large illuminated letters, there’s no end to the fun, creative alternatives to suit whatever your style or requirements!
